Looks like there are more names for Dorcas' list.

It's time to start thinking seriously about Halloween costuming. Anyone already have any good ideas?

Having the pool heated was a good decision. It would be far too cold already if it wasn't. Getting out of the warm water in to the cool air is invigorating, at least for the distance between the pool and the house.

That being said, there is going to be one final pool party before it's too cold to do even that, Sunday, come about 4 stay until it's too cold.

But aside from that, they've asked for help with some security measures. Ted is taking over Muggle Memorabilia. And since the former owner was killed, and Ted's already been a target, they are going to need a lot of security. Which is difficult since letting everyone in is important to the success of a business.

So that's interesting.

And Dorcas says a moat is excessive. I don't happen to agree, but if I ever figure out where to buy a moat monster, I'm building it whether it's excessive or not.) tomorrow night. Come hungry and sober, and I will fix those conditions for you. And everyone must bring him a present. (Shut up, Remus) Don't listen to him, everyone has to bring one. No matter what Remus says, I'm not letting you in without a gift.

I just received an owl from Remus. He's been arrested. They suspect him of being a Death Eater based on him hanging around outside someone's house. He is at the Pattington holding cells until they decide whether or not he is dangerous enough to go to Azkaban. I'm going over there to see what I can find out. If anyone else has any ideas or contacts, throw them out there.

I'm afraid they're going to decide that he's plenty dangerous enough when they realise he's a werewolf.

I think I finally got the elephant poo smell out of my jacket. Leather is very porous.

It has been gray skied for nearly a month now, but it does not get me down because I have my best friend, James Potter. And there is something I have been meaning to say to James for some time.

Ice burn. You heard me. I have ice burn on my cheek and the palms of both hands from that slip all the way down that last corridor. My sides are also sore from laughing.

I've done so well at the getting out thing, having done it almost four times now, that I thought I might try having people in. Dorcas and I are going to have a little Christmas party. A week from tonight. Casual, informal, low key, any more than that and I might not show up at my own house. In fact, I probably shouldn't call it a party. Let's go with Christmas gathering. Or Holiday assortment. Whatever. Let us know if you can come.
